Influencer Jadé Tuncdoruk raises eyebrows at Australian Fashion Week

Controversial influencer Jadé Tuncdoruk raised his eyebrows during Australian fashion week Afterpay on Tuesday.

The 27-year-old stunned onlookers when she wore Louis Vuitton head to toe and failed to ‘support local designers’.

A local designer told The Daily Telegraph’s Confidential Jadé ‘obviously didn’t read the piece’ showing an international designer at an event supporting Australian talent.

‘She clearly hasn’t read the piece’: Influencer Jadé Tuncdoruk (pictured), 27, raised her eyebrows on day two of Australian Fashion Week on Tuesday when she arrived wearing this Louis Vuitton outfit from the head at the feet

Jadé arrived for the second day of Fashion Week in a black neoprene Louis Vuitton dress, paired with the brand’s Urban Twist Pump priced at AUD$1,480 and the Twist MM handbag at $6,850.

She proudly displayed her outfit on Instagram in several photos and also tagged the brand.

The designer told Confidential: “Obviously everyone loves a high-end brand, but at Fashion Week, where it’s Australian designers, it’s pretty average to promote an international brand.” She clearly didn’t read the play.

The designer went on to suggest that it would “be nice to support the local” when you’re an “influencer and people dress you up.”

A local creator reportedly told The Daily Telegraph's Confidential:

Jadé did, however, support Australian brand Camilla and Marc when she wore one of their three-piece suits with Gucci accessories on Monday.

In January, Jade was forced to apologize for a racially insensitive Facebook post about Uber Eats drivers.

The post resurfaced from 2017 saw Jadé complain about the company’s “annoying non-English speaking delivery drivers”.

“I order from you all the time and I’m starting to find it really annoying that you have so many non-English speaking delivery people who can’t follow basic delivery instructions,” she wrote.

‘I got a notification today saying my food was arriving and it took another 20 mins for the person to get to my door because he hadn’t read my delivery instructions correctly and when I called him to explain to him that he did not understand a word, I said.’

She continued: ‘Your GPS constantly sends drivers to the wrong address, which I explained in my instructions, which most people read and have no problem with, but when strangers deliver, I need twice longer to receive my cold food. Sort it out.

Jadé later apologized for her “hurtful comments” after her post was uploaded by Instagram page Celeb Spellcheck.

The rant came after she faced backlash for demanding that a small business refund her $2,000 honeymoon deposit.

The company, Weekenda, accused Jade of trying to “work around” their policies after ignoring the terms and conditions.

“It doesn’t excuse anything, but know that I have grown enormously over the last few years. I always do my best to be someone others can look up to and I know I let people down and for that I’m so sorry,’ she later said.
