Madonna defends nude NFTs: ‘I think it’s important’

Fans are divided over Madonna’s latest bizarre adventure, but it seems she doesn’t care: “It’s not often that a robot centipede comes out of my vagina.”

Madonna isn’t hung up on criticism over her nude NFT.

The 63-year-old Queen of Pop worked with non-fungible token artist Beeple to create an NFT that had fans and critics gasping.

The NFT contained very NSFW graphics featuring Madonna fully nude and giving birth to butterflies, insects and trees. The collection even includes a 3D model of her vagina.

Madonna is now defending the use of her bare physique in a new interview she did with Beeple creator Mike Winkelmann.

“I’m doing what women have been doing since the dawn of time, which is giving birth,” the mother-of-six said in a chat shared on her Instagram account.

“But on a more existential level, I bring art and creativity to life and we’d be lost without both,” she continued.

Proceeds from the NFT – titled “Mother of Creation” – will be donated to charities National Bail Out, V-Day and Voices of Children.

The singer added, “I think it’s really important that a lot of thought and conversation has gone into creating these videos.”

Madonna and the artist then discussed their vision for the artwork and what they both wanted to portray.

“I say we need a forest with creepy crawling insects coming out of me,” Madonna joked. “It’s not often that a robot centipede comes out of my vagina.”

“My journey in life as a woman is like that of a tree. Starting with a small seed, always growing against the resistance of the Earth. The infinite weight of gravity,” she concluded.

The “Music” singer noted in a statement on Wednesday that the purpose of the NFT was “to study the concept of creation, not only how a child enters the world through a woman’s vagina, but also how an artist gives birth to creativity.”

Fans moaned and moaned about her nude photos and tweeted their thoughts on it. “Madonna’s latest NFT. If I’ve seen it, so must you. NFT should stand for NO FKN TACT,” one wrote.

“Madonna selling a nft of her WHAT? nah f**k this shit I’m out,” tweeted another.

“Whatever it SUCKS,” someone replied on Instagram.
